Operating the ceiling heating panel

To control the temperature in the room, attach any compatible thermostat - a simple, yet reliable temperature control unit. By adjusting the dial, the desired temperature is set within the range from +5 to +30 °C. This not only maintains a constant indoor air temperature but also saves energy. When the preset temperature is reached, the thermostat will automatically turn off the ceiling mounted heater and turn it on again when heating is required again.

Installation tips

It is quite simple to choose the optimal arrangement of heaters in the room. Make sure there are no obstacles in the way of heat waves coming from the heater. In the case of infrared ceiling panels, this condition is almost always met.

Another thing to keep in mind in the case of ceiling mounted heating panels is that regardless of the location of the heated objects in the room, one or more IR panels must be installed above the window because usually, it is the main source of heat loss in the room.

EUROLINIA Ceiling mounted IR panels have three power options. Choosing the correct power depends on the height at which the heating panel will be mounted above the floor level. You should consider the minimum safe distance from the panel to the head of a person, which also depends on the power of the heater. 

We recommend mounting the heating panels according to the ceiling height:

• For a 500Watts heater: 3 - 3,5 m
• For a 400Watts heater: 2,8 - 3 m
• For a 300 Watts heater: 2.5 - 2,8 m
