Eurolinia Mica band heaters - high power density, designed for heating cylindrical surfaces: nozzles, extruder head, injection molding machines, etc.
Typically, nozzle band heaters are used when there are strict dimensional restrictions. When the distance between the heater and the heated surface is small, high power density is necessary for effective heating.
The heating coil, insulated with a layer of mica, is located inside the stainless steel housing. Thanks to more than 20 years of experience and high-quality materials, our nozzle heating bands are very reliable and have long service life even under severe operating conditions.

Nozzle band heaters are sealed and protected by a metal shell. Unlike conventional mica band heaters, they can be used where there is a risk of contamination with injection molding materials and other aggressive substances. Our nozzle heating bands are manufactured with holes, cutouts, and thermocouple retainers upon customer's request.
When installing a nozzle heater, it is essential to ensure tight contact between the heating surface of the heater and the surface of the heated object. If this condition is not met, there will be an uneven return of heat energy from the heating surface of the heater, which can cause overheating, and, as a result, the heater will fail.
