EUROLINIA IPH-T infrared heating panels are used in thermoforming machines for directional one or two-side heating of molded polymer sheet materials (HDPE, LDPE, PVC, ABS, acrylic plastic, polystyrene, etc.). These heating panels can be installed both horizontally or vertically depending on the thermoforming machine design. All panels are equipped with appropriate control systems to meet specific production requirements, provide uniform heat distribution and minimize energy consumption. Each IR panel project has its custom features based on our customer’s needs and expectations.
ICH heating elements
EUROLINIA IR panels are equipped with our own ICH-100/200/400 ceramic or quartz infrared emitters. These CE certified elements comply with all existing European/US production standards and are interchangeable with similar models of other brands. ICH elements are reliable, affordable and always available for our clients from stock if needed.
Modular Structure
The IPH-T heating panels have a modular structure with independently adjustable heating zones. The number of zones and their size depends on the dimensions of the heating panel itself, the requirements for power density and heating uniformity over the surface. IPH-T heating panels perform rapid heating due to the optimal combination of two-layer thermal insulation and reduced convection between zones across the heating surface. Additionally, our infrared panels have electronic protection system, which prevents infrared emitters from overheating and a self-monitoring system that ensures proper performance of each heating element.
2 types of emitters installation
Depending on the application requirements, IPH-T infrared heating panels come in 2 different types:
Type 1 panels have ceramic heating elements installed inside the reflectors with intermediate reflecting plates, which create the effect of redistribution of infrared rays. This design significantly reduces the number of heating elements, total weight of the panel, production cost and electricity consumption.
Type 2 panelshave ceramic heating elements installed as close as possible to each other, thus, providing faster heat up, much higher power density, and better uniformity over the heating surface than Type 1 panels.
IPH-T Control Unit
All EUROLINIA heating panels are equipped with a specially programmed control unit. Heating process can be monitored visually on the control panel or from a remote computer. Control unit allows you to:
Control unit constantly monitors the performance of ceramic emitters and signals if the circuit has a malfunction or one of the ceramic emitters fails to operate (burns out).
